SUMMORY 2025
Over the course of two dynamic weeks, Summory Batch 1 interns engaged in a hands-on journey that combined real-world experience with creative exploration.
From applying AI in research and using design thinking to solve challenges, to building marketing campaigns and leading alumni-focused initiatives, they developed practical skills and collaborative mindsets. With guidance from industry mentors, CV workshops, coffee chats, company visits, and mock interviews, students gained career insights while also discovering more about themselves. This experience laid a strong foundation for their future, both personally and professionally.




CV Makeover Workshop
As part of the Summory experience, students took part in a CV Makeover Workshop designed to equip them with the tools to tell their stories professionally and authentically. Through guided exercises and practical tips, they learned how to structure an impactful CV, highlight their strengths, and align their experiences with future opportunities. The workshop empowered students to see their own potential more clearly, boosting their confidence in navigating the professional world and preparing them for upcoming internships, interviews, and beyond.



Character Strength and Belbin Team Roles Workshop
In this eye-opening workshop hosted by Pursuit of X, students explored their individual character strengths and Belbin Team Roles to better understand how they work, lead, and collaborate with others.Through interactive activities and personal reflection, they gained deeper insight into their unique qualities and how these traits contribute to effective teamwork. The session not only fostered greater self-awareness, but also helped students recognise and appreciate the diversity of strengths within a team—laying the groundwork for more meaningful collaboration in both academic and professional settings.





Company Visit - South China Morning Post
Our Dream2Story students had a great opportunity to step inside one of Hong Kong’s most respected newsrooms, South China Morning Post. The visit offered a firsthand experience of how stories are shaped and delivered with integrity and impact. Students participated in one-on-one mock interviews and received practical CV feedback, building valuable communication skills and growing their confidence. From exploring media and content strategy to learning about the diverse roles in a modern newsroom, this experience opened up new perspectives and inspired fresh thinking about future career paths.





Photography Workshop
Our students had the chance to join a hands-on photography workshop led by professional photographer Simon. They learned the fundamentals of lighting, composition, and camera setup, then put those skills to the test during a photo walk at Central Market.The workshop not only taught technical knowledge, but also encouraged students to observe their surroundings with a fresh perspective.





Company Visit - Les Saveurs Private Kitchen
As part of the Summory learning journey, students visited Les Saveurs Private Kitchen, where French culinary artistry meets Hong Kong warmth. They heard an inspiring story about the journey of building a private kitchen, learning firsthand about the values, challenges, and creativity behind the food industry. The experience continued with hands-on activities where students crafted their own Crème Brûlée and discovered the art of making the perfect cup of coffee. It was a meaningful afternoon that blended storytelling, creativity, and connection through the power of food.



Office Work - Program Team
Throughout the Summory journey, the Program Team learned how to use AI tools, conduct effective coffee chats, interview target audiences to develop personas, and brainstorm ideas using the design thinking process. With these new skills, they went on to design two thoughtful and creative alumni activities, which they plan to host in the next Summory batch. Their detailed planning and human-centered approach demonstrated both initiative and empathy—ensuring the events will be engaging, inclusive, and impactful for future alumni.



Office Work - Marketing Team
The Marketing Team applied their learnings in AI, coffee chats, user interviews, and design thinking to bring bold ideas to life. After identifying alumni needs through persona building, they created three unique alumni pin designs, a witty and engaging Instagram reel to attract alumni sign-ups, and a vibrant poster for the upcoming alumni event. Their ability to translate insights into creative content showed a strong grasp of both strategy and storytelling—bringing energy and connection to the alumni community.
