Ross HUI is an accomplished Human Resources leader with over two decades of experience driving strategic HR initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. He specializes in Total Rewards Management, HR Business Partnership, HR Policies, HR Systems, and HR Analytics, combining deep technical expertise with a strong focus on employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Ross has held senior leadership roles in both private and public sectors, including Moody’s, Shell, AIG, GE, South China Morning Post, and the Securities and Futures Commission, and currently serves as Head of Remuneration and Planning at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. In this role, he oversees reward strategies, HR technologies, and analytics frameworks, while serving as Secretary to the Remuneration Committee.
Throughout his career, Ross has spearheaded transformative projects such as implementing Long-Term Incentive Programs, establishing internal pay bands, introducing HRIS platforms like Workday and SuccessFactors, and developing data-driven retention models. His ability to align HR strategies with business objectives has consistently delivered measurable impact in talent engagement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Ross holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Professional
Accountancy from the University of London, a Master of Arts in Gender Studies from CUHK, and a Master of Science in Data Science and Business Statistics. He is a Qualified Accountant (ACCA) and Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, reflecting his unique blend of financial, analytical, and HR expertise.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Ross contributes to academia as a Part-time Lecturer at Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, teaching HR Information Systems, and serves as a Board Member of Resolve Foundation, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
