The Foundry 2026

Now in its fourth year, The Foundry 2026 builds on past experience with ongoing programme innovation. This five-month youth entrepreneurship journey guides students to develop and pitch their business ideas with support from trained industry mentors. Complemented by mentor networking sessions and post-programme alumni activities, the learning experience extends far beyond the core timeline.

Foundry Launch Day

Foundry Launch Day marks the beginning of every student's journey in the programme. Students from different schools come together to start five months of learning, growth, and exploration. Interactive team challenges and the D2S:DreamBank experience create a relaxed, supportive space for young people to bond with teammates and their Foundry Mentors to explore their own dreams and interests.

Mentor Training

Three comprehensive training sessions equipped D2S:Mentors for their mentoring journey. Sessions covered peer experience sharing, guidance on supporting students’ business development, empathic youth communication, and an immersive LARP activity to help mentors deepen their understanding of students.

Mentoring Session

Structured sessions with Foundry Mentors facilitate students to turn their D2S:DreamBank into refined business proposals whilst overcoming obstacles and navigating an entrepreneurial creative process that  encourages self-discovery.

Company Visit

Students visited 2 companies across a choice of 11 different industries, gaining first hand insights into the workplace, exploring career possibilities, and learning directly from industry professionals.

Mentor Social

Throughout the programme, mentor social events provided ongoing support. These gatherings also served as networking opportunities, allowing mentors to share experiences and support one another.

Sharing Day

After months of developing their ideas, 120 students from 21 teams took the stage at Sharing Day to present their business ideas and receive feedback from industry judges. It was a milestone moment that celebrated not only this entrepreneurial journey but also the students’ obvious growth and increased confidence.

Graduation Workshop Day

The final chapter of the Foundry journey brought students together with even more industry professionals and mentors to explore personal career stories, industries, and future possibilities through specially curated Story Islands, Industry Booths, and an Exhibition Area showcasing all teams’ business concepts from the Sharing Day.
