We're thrilled to share the survey results of our first year of the Foundry Program, our flagship initiative that offered 8 weeks of experiential learning. The survey results highlighted our students' growing optimism and confidence about their futures, their desire to maintain lasting connections with mentors, and their positive reflections on the program's challenging yet rewarding nature. These insights affirm our commitment to fostering meaningful relationships and essential skills that empower our students on their own journeys.

Here are some key insights from the program survey:

1. Students feel more optimistic and confident about their future

Survey data reveals that Foundry has had a significant impact on students' confidence and view on their own future when compared before joining our program.

2. All students would like to keep in touch with their mentors

Survey data shows that all of our students wish to maintain contact with their mentors. This aligns perfectly with our organization's mission to foster long-term mentor-mentee relationships. We aim to support our students as they transition from school to the workplace, rather than offering just a one-time mentoring experience.

3. Students Positive Feedbacks on the Foundry Program

Nearly all of our students leave positive comments about the Foundry Program. One notable feedback is, 'It’s tough but worth it.' This reflects our intentional design of the syllabus, as we crafted the program to be challenging precisely to help raise self confidence of the students after they have overcome these challenges. We believe that by working alongside their mentors, students will uncover and develop valuable soft skills—such as resilience, creativity, and confidence — that will help them tackle challenges and foster personal growth throughout their journey.
