With the conclusion of the Foundry 2023, we are proud to announce our winning teams:
Best Presenters and Most Valuable Company went to:
Spirit’s app for renting second-hand luxury bags, which not only promotes sustainability but also allows people to enjoy high-end fashion at an affordable price, won the Most valuable Company award.
The winning team showcased excellent teamwork and a clear grasp of the entrepreneurial considerations around their business idea. They also presented their ideas with clarity and confidence, impressing our judging panel on Sharing Day.
Day Dreamer’s dance studio cum restaurant took the prize for Best Presenters award. With the largest team size of seven members, they impressed our judges not just with clear and well structured presentation of their business plans but also with perfectly choreographed execution of their presentation as well as question and answer section. Every member seemed to know exactly when to step up to speak and when to pass on the microphone.
For many students, this was their first experience working collaboratively on a project, and most had never presented to a large audience before. Throughout the Foundry journey, they not only faced these challenges head-on but also demonstrated remarkable growth, evolving from complete novices to delivering impressively high-standard presentations. We can confidently say that all four teams won over their former selves by presenting their ideas in front of the crowd.
We were all inspired by the incredible self-belief and resilience of these teenagers. Their achievements remind us that, when given the right opportunities, anything is possible for these young minds!
